Aims and Obecjectives

Provide skills training and transfer improved technologies to industry.

Provide “product development” and “business incubator” facilities to participants in the industry

Collaboration with manufacturers, professional bodies, polytechnics, universities in the development of competency-based skills training curriculum for young people and students; from the certificate level to the degree Level.

Use Advocacy, Community Fora and Social Media to facilitate the development, production and marketing of patented products.

Use Award Schemes and Trade Showsto promote and make available state-of-the-art patented CAD/CAM/CAErouting technologies.

EMMANUEL AJA WENTUM – Board Chairman

Aja Wentum is a 3D Product Designer and Engraver; Industrial Liaison Specialist.
He is a born printer, started his career in the family business, Floent Printing Press in 1982 as an apprentice and matured to master apprentice then to the position of a Master Printer. Under his directorship the company grew from just letterpress to offset technology with new equipment; Heidelberg offset machines and a building complex.

Resigned and handed over as managing director in January 2002 to focus on Mica Ghana.

In 2007, Aja Wentum pioneered the first private imported and installed CNC equipment in Ghana. Since then, through its client-base of over 200 small, medium and large manufacturing companies who patronize the industrial outlet for CNC engineering services, Aja has witnessed the birth of over 50 new initiatives.
The services provided include cutting of dies for the manufacture of gift bags, skillets, folders, corrugated boxes, blade sharpening, production of moulds for pendants, cufflinks, badges etc., cutting of acrylics, and aluminum boards for signage production.

In 2021, Mr. Aja Wentum and Mrs Clarice Wentum established GhaMIT to provide training on using CAD/CAM to design and craft materials.

As an Industrial Liaison Specialist Aja Wentum is well travelled i.e. USA, UK, Germany, Thialand, Macoa, China attending conferences, trade shows and business negotiations.
The drupa is the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world, held every four years by Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany
IPEX-UK is one of the world’s longest established exhibitions for the print industry with a heritage that dates back to the 1800’s.
China Import and Export Fair(short as Canton Fair)

Aja Wentum is a Pastor with the Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry (CEM) and is a board member of Center for Employment of Persons with Disability (CEPD).

CLARICE AMINAH WENTUM (Mrs) – Director Academic Affairs

Clarice has over Thirty (30) years of experience in various administrative levels in private and state institutions. Her core expertise is in compliance enforcement and fraud prevention.

Clarice has over Thirty (30) years of experience in various administrative levels in private and state institutions. Her core expertise is in compliance enforcement and fraud prevention.

Mrs. Wentum worked for the U.S. Embassy’s consular section for over Twenty (20) years and worked to preserve the integrity of the U.S. visa process. During her tenure, Clarice Wentum was an invaluable asset to the consular section and made a great deal of contributions to the Fraud Prevention Unit, actively participating in training new employees on various consular processes, procedures and databases.

She received awards on various occasions for Quality Service, Performance including the Consular Affairs Leadership Award and the cherished Eagle Group Award.
She resigned honorably in September, 2018 to commit her full attention to the growth of Mica Ghana and later GhaMit.

David Kwaku Ansah – Technical Director

David is the General Manager of Mica Ghana.
David holds a B.Sc. Information Technology from Methodist University College Ghana.
Worked with Technical Exams Unit Tech/Voc. Education Division from 2008 – 2012 with sole responsibility in the upgrade of software and hardware, overseeing hardware and help desk activities.

David completed SSS at Koforidua Sech/Tech School in 2001 where he was the Maintenance Prefect of the Great Croffie House. In 2005 he acquired a certificate in diploma in computer software at Sackey-Addoo Secretarial Institute. The following year he acquired a certificate in diploma in computer hardware at NCR Computer Science Institute. He acquired an international certificate in Microcomputer Technician part 1 from City & Guilds London in 2010. He went on to acquire both local and international certificates in Professional diploma in Hardware & Networking Engineering, Networking Essentials Plus Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) at IPMC and Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft all in 2011.
